Qifu Laojiao 1978
In 1978 our family took over a small village distillery in Mianzhu, built by earlier generations with their own hands. Spring water from the Longmen Mountains, yellow-mud pits that grow richer with every year of use, clay jars sealed with red cloth: none of it has left the family since.
Qifu Laojiao 1978 carries that year’s name. The older the pit, the deeper its aroma; our oldest reserves have rested in clay since 1978.
